Day 1238, Let’s Kneel in Prayer 

 

Trump’s an insult to all of us

But those of whom we are ashamed:

The selfish rich, Trump’s bigot base,

White liberals too…should they be blamed?

 

He’s narcissistic, bigoted,

With ignorance that just astounds.

His mind is un-informable;

His fact resistance knows no bounds.

 

The Ship of State is in a storm,

The captain, somewhere down below,

Without the talent to command,

No plan for when such ill winds blow.

 

So, will the ship get back to shore,

Safe in the harbor or shipwreck?

Let’s pray for mercy from above,

One nation kneeling on Trump’s neck.
