Day 1109, Donald Trump Is King (tune: My Country, ‘Tis of Thee,) 

 

Once a democracy,

From sea to shining sea,

Now we have a king.

The Senate made it so,

When they let Donald go;

Autocracy is free to grow,

Now that Trump is king.

 

Though not our favorite son,

Trump’s the anointed one;

We have made him king.

Now retribution starts,

Bleeding out bleeding hearts;

Revenge is one of Donald’s arts

And we’ve made him king.

 

Republic, in the past, (1)

But now that dream has passed,

Since we made Trump king.

We will watch Donald gloat,

Cheat in November’s vote,

And, that just may be all she wrote,

Since we made Trump king.
