Day 1094, What Trump Knows 

 

It isn’t that Trump doesn’t know a lot.

A lot of what he “knows” just isn’t so. (1)

His speeches and his tweets while on the pot,

Astonish us with what he doesn’t know.

 

Most foreign leaders think that Trump’s a clown,

Including Putin, Erdogan, and Kim.

We’ve seen them gather, joke, and put him down,

When they think no one else is watching them.

 

Our NATO allies find him frightening.

He doesn’t know why NATO came to be.

There’s little chance of Trump’s enlightening.

He asks, “Is there a profit here for me?”

 

Insulting everybody is his style.

Rude ignorance has helped recruit his base.

Trump took advantage of their rising bile

When they stared at Obama’s darker face.

 

The House has done its duty: Senate’s turn.

McConnell has avowed they will acquit.

And that will leave two choices: will we burn

Or drown democracy in Donald’s shit?

 

Dishonesty, incompetence, and crime:

Trump simply has to go and now’s the time.
