Although belated, Stephen and Carol Baird are pleased to announce that their son, Daniel and his wife Becky added another tiny star to the family. The D&B production company staged another hit show at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla when Talia Rose Cherlin Baird entered this world with a smile and the sweetest voice in town at the very civilized hour of 3:20 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. and was 19″ long. The grandparents were thrilled and gave their children a standing ovation for their stellar performance. We also predict rave reviews for Talia’s future. This princess really is a star and will be given the Hebrew name ‘Kochava’ (meaning ‘star’)at her baby naming April 12, 2008.

Steve and Carol waited for Talia’s exciting debut with her other set of grandparents, Ed and Sue Cherlin as well as Becky’s sister, Deborah and niece, Eliza. Talia’s big brother, Noah, arrived the following day to be introduced to his baby sister. He was given a toy doll, a Mr. Potato Head and a snack to make the coming introduction more acceptable! He did not need any of that since he was so sweet and accepting of the newest and last addition to the Baird performing troupe.

Steve and I finally have our first and only granddaughter after 2 sons and 3 grandsons. Talia is now gurgling and cooing and exploring the world around her. Everyone is healthy and happy and we are very grateful for our blessings.
