February 17, McConnell vs. Trump  (Sing to My Old Kentucky Home)

February 17, McConnell vs. Trump  (Sing to My Old Kentucky Home)

Mitch McConnell is sad, leading his minority.

He blames Donald Trump for the loss.

Mitch is hoping he regains his majority

And, once more, he will be the Senate’s boss.

To win, he must dump Donald,

The one who made him fail.

So Mitch gave a speech carried widely on TV,

Telling us Donald Trump belongs in jail.

Trump hit back, of course, and he called Mitch every name,

Reserved for his worst enemy.

Donald thinks he’s king, meaning he’s above all blame;

And Mitch’s speech is simply blasphemy.

McConnell’s old and wiley,

To give Trump to the courts.

Let indictments and let the civil lawsuits fly

And we’ll see Donald stripped down to his shorts.
