Day 896, The Parade

 

God finally got a new optometrist

And made it rain on Donald Trump’s parade.

There are so many misdeeds God has missed,

We wondered if His vision needed aid.

 

To start, we have Trump’s infidelities

With Playmates, porn stars, dozens we are told.

And then there are his misplaced loyalties

To three false gods: of power, fame, and gold.

 

Though Donald Trump is such a miscreant,

His “Christian” followers, in worship, kneel.

Trump’s sins and lies and crimes cause no dissent.

They throng to him with still unbridled zeal.

 

With His new glasses, will God recognize

The blasphemy that’s right before His eyes?
