Day 624, White Male Privilege

It’s white male privilege;

That’s what it’s all about.

Don’t give progressive folks

A chance to gain more clout.

For white male privilege

Built what we have today.

Colored folks and women

Must all be held at bay.

 

Republicans all want to pack conservatives on courts.

If not, they fear that white males may all take it in the shorts.

The blacks and browns and women are all knocking on the door

And telling white males, “Boys—ain’t gonna service you no more!”

Progressives caught on to the game; this inning, Kavanaugh.

He’ll maintain white male privilege by interpreting the law.

His rulings and demeanor tell them he is on their side,

A fact that Mitch McConnell doesn’t even try to hide.

 

It’s white male privilege,

That’s what it’s all about.

Don’t give progressive folks

Keep white male privilege

There in the Judgment Seat.

We’ll hang on to power

Though voters say we’re beat.

 

Obama was our President, but he kept being black.

Which made right wing white males unite to fight off this attack.

And now it’s women standing up to tell all men, “Enough!

“We’ll cut you off and vote you out. That’s how smart girls play rough.”

Society is changing; all the signs are quite distinct.

And evolution teaches that some species go extinct.

Will women be the asteroid that wipes out dinosaurs,

Replacing the environment that Kavanaugh adores?

 

It’s white male privilege.
