Our threats come from the Russians and Chinese,

And North Korea’s A bomb missile tests.

Canadians and Europeans?  Please!

Not even all our brown, “unwanted guests.”

So, how does Trump evaluate our threats?

He tells us he is starting tariff wars.

The NATO countries must pay off their debts.

Asylum seekers face our padlocked doors.

While Putin, Xi, and Kim Jong Un all smile

As they watch Western trade groups come apart.

If they maintain their flattery and guile,

They know that Donald Trump will play his part.

The lesson is not hard to comprehend.

A narcissist is never a true friend.
