Day 1050, Chutzpah  (1) 

 

Judiciary hearings, law professors testified.

“The evidence is second hand,” Republicans all cried.

But Trump will not let first hand witnesses give evidence.

Such chutzpah!  What a flaw in the Republican defense.

 

“I have no representatives,” the Donald’s tweets all say.

(But Donald told them not to go; that’s chutzpah any day.)

Republicans want “fiction” witnesses to testify.

Both law and facts not on their side, they need someone to lie.

 

And now we hear that Giuliani’s back in the Ukraine

To keep on spreading Putin’s myth and cause Joe Biden pain.

But Donald says he doesn’t know why Rudy would be there,

Though Rudy says he works for Donald: these two, what a pair!

 

Investigating Biden for the Donald’s benefit:

That’s rank abuse of power but they both seem proud of it.

Do they both think that bribery will not seem out of place,

High crime or misdemeanor, if they do it in your face?

 

Republicans complain about the process, not the facts.

First Donald Trump obstructs the process, which he then attacks,

Thus illustrating chutzpah.  With their boss’s albatross,

Republican apologists sink deep in mishegoss.  (2)
