Donald at the Bat – Day 1027, If John Bolton Comes to Testify (parody to ‘When Johnny Comes Marching Home’)

Day 1027, If John Bolton Comes to Testify (1)

When Bolton agrees to testify,

Oh me, oh my,

We think that the Donald’s fat will fry.

Oh me, oh my.

Right wingers quake with fear and doubt;

The Democrats all cheer and shout.

What will Johnny say when he comes to testify?

Since Johnny knows what the Donald did,

Oh me, oh my,

He knows enough stuff to blow the lid,

Oh me, oh my.

Though Trump will claim he’s never heard

Of Bolton, we can’t trust his word,

And we know Trump knows that Bolton knows what he did.

There’s already lots of evidence;

Hurrah!  Hurrah!

Perhaps even implicating Pence,

Hurrah!  Hurrah!

Trump is a liar, cheat, and crook;

It’s obvious, if you just look.

Read the “transcript;” you’ll see obvious evidence.

Coda:

You will see Trump’s crimes unless you are just too dense.

  1. May be sung to: “When Johnny Comes Marching Home,” a Civil War song published in 1863.  Lyrics by Patrick Gilmore, published under the pseudonym, Louis Lambert. The music evolved over time.  The first melody was adapted from “Johnny, Fill Up the Bowl,” arranged by J. Durnal, 1863. The song was sung by both sides.
